EGLAVATOR PROGRAM IS ON-HOLD

How the EGLAVATOR began and why the program is on-hold.

Around March 2017, we began a journey assisting startups and ventures in South Florida.  We embarked into the unknown and helped over 80+ companies in a period of 5 years, including success stories like ID FUND, POINTSKASH, FORESIGHT FINANCIAL, WEBMASTER RADIO, MEDMATCH, GUILTLESS TO GO, SAFEFI, DEMOLIZER PROJECT, MOBILITY WORKX, and many many others.  In and around 2018 and 2019, we began our podcast studios and launched TECHEDTV from our studios at the EGLAVATOR in Boca Raton, at 751 Park of Commerce Dr., Suite 128, Boca Raton, Fl, 33487.

if you all recall, in March 2017, the Enterprise Development Corporation (EDC) was running the incubator, and had two offices, but stop paying rent sometime in 2016-2017, which I believe was the reason for being evicted by March 2017. At that time, there were several startups in the space, including EGLA CORP, SILVER LOGIC, ALDA, CIRRUS CORE NETWORKS, WEBMASTER RADIO, and others.  EGLA took over the lease and collected payments from the tenants, and the landlord forced EGLA CORP to make no profit from the lease for over three years, as ALL SUBLEASES had to be approved by the landlord, and will adjust the rent as more SUBLEASES were being made.  The landlord was CBRE, I wonder if they do treat all the tenants like that the same way.

In and around July 2021, we moved to the office at 791 Park of Commerce Blvd, Suite 300, Boca Raton, FL, 33487.  At the sam time, that MOBILITY WORKX reached a licensing agreement with Verizon right before trial, in Marshall, Texas.  A new journey began, without EGLA knowing that the entire building was being disputed by the landlord, KRS Biotech, and FLA Properties #115, LLC. The dispute included issues with mold, problems with size, and our suite was, without our knowledge in the middle of the dispute.  Suite 300 was then rented to EGLA while it was part of a very conflictive real estate-tenant dispute, that included eviction attempts, and numerous issues.

However, EGLA and the EGLAVATOR continued as usual, from July 2021 to October 2023, EGLA continued its operations with multiple pitch events, training events, podcasts, investor meetings, and serving the community from our 10,000 sq. ft area.

EGLA attempted, at one point, offered to purchase the building, given all the disputes that were being taking place but such acquisitions as anticipated by Mr. Bhavin Shah, and his company 791 POC LLC that took over a year to close from the moment of an offer, to the closing date in and around March 2023.  (See 502023CA013236XXXXMB_3 502022CA004367XXXXMB_73 502022CA004367XXXXMB_106)

Multiple legal disputes were covering SUIT 300 and a lengthy legal record is publicly available at the palm beach court. This dispute is a reflection of how difficult was not only to sublease or to stay at the space, but a testament of how lack of disclosure of certain events is required to avoid being a victim of legal disasters like this one.

EGLA reached out to the landlords, prior and new,  and was told that all our original was going to be honored, and that it was a matter of closing with the new owner to get a clearer picture on the lease situation.

Nothing of that was true, as at 791 POC LLC wanted almost 2x the original lease and wanted back pays and other unknown charges.

Who did EGLA help?

We helped many startups that had no money and no capital, to basically have an office for free, or pay whatever they wanted. We even, had companies like MEDMATCH, FORTENEER, SEO TURBO BOOSTER, CONDUCTION LABS,  EVOLUX LLC (SkyShare), GUILTLESS TO GO, and many many more came to the EGLAVATOR, used the facilites for FREE.

EGLA CORP, in many cases was not compensated with any share, the only company that paid with equity was POINTSKASH and ANCHOR University, that was a non-profit accepted the rent as a donation.

How the real-estate situation unfolded?

EGLA, Dr. Edwin, and Mr. Shah began in good terms, and all appear to be going well as a partnership. Eeven discussing expansion of the co-working space and designing with an architecture firm, a new space.  Mr.  Shah even attended several of our pitch events, and got involved in negotiations with startups that were being assisted 5th the EGLAVATOR.

Around August/September 2023, Mr. Shah requested a large payment initially over $80K but then corrected to be around mids $70k, which EGLA submitted as a wire transfer in exchange of assurance to stay in the building until December 31, 2023, and downsizing operating to a small area, which we did.

Not withstanding while I was traveling to the Philippines as my sister was participating in a Mrs. Universe and around the end of September beginning of October 2023, 791 POC LLC or Mr. Shah sent a crew to change all locks at the EGLAVATOR.

By  October 25th, 2023, as show in the following videos,, Mr. Shah’s workers used the new key to get into the office. I know they are his workers as I met some of them, just two weeks prior. As we were under the impression that we were going to fix all the floors, and reignite the EGLAVATOR.  But none of that happen, as it shows in the following videos, such crew came to take down all cameras and who knows what they did to the furniture, parts, technology, and anything that is was in the building.

Why do we out all the EGLAVATOR program on-hold now?

Despite all efforts, we have been unable to recover our property from this building, we were never evicted, we never received any notice, simply and illegally, the new landlord, despite paying over $70K, changed all the locks and sent a crew to dismantle the EGLAVATOR.  Although, we tried to work with Dan Gudema and the space assigned by Marc Wilder, we were hesitant to risk again capital and money without having a clear picture on what’s going on.

Now, in and around January-March 2023, EGLA had to deal with other legal matters, most importantly recently we filed a patent and trade secret litigation, and decided to put all the investment into the EGLAVATOR and use these funds to fight a legal battle against Stingray, Mood Media, AT&T, and others..
